Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is an international computer-based test. It provides a measure of a test taker’s language ability in order to assist education institutions and professional and government organizations that require a standard of academic English language proficiency for admission purposes.

Pearson’s Test of EnglishPTE

The computer based test focuses on day to day English rather than high-level English language and tests a student on his/her ability to effectively understand the language as spoken daily.
The examination is of 3 hours online test session.
PTE ACADEMIC : The PTE Academic is designed to test the language skills of candidates who wish to enroll themselves in universities for higher education. PTE Academic scores are accepted by almost all major universities and business schools across the world. The test focuses on real life situations faced at the university level and employs a variety of English accents in order to better prepare the student for a university education and the culture diverse worlds enclosed within it.
Scores from Band 0 to 90 are given to candidates.
